Organ Photo Shoot
I got a chance today to try out my new studio lights. I was hired by Nolte Organ Building, a company here in Milwaukee, to take special pictures of a custom organ that they finished for a private client.

CD Project
I had the opportunity to help out my good friend, Mike Westendorf, with his new CD project. We had a great photo shoot, and had fun putting together the CD cover. He will have the official release party at Cup O' Joy in Green Bay on June 27th. I will be singing backup for that concert- and I am also on the CD!! You can see more about the CD and purchasing information at www.mikewestendorf.com

Long time!!
Wow, so it has been 2 months since my last post, so I truly apologize for not keeping up on it!
So, Big things have happened since the last post.
I had my art show opening on April 18th, and had over 100 people attend to enjoy the artwork and the great music provided by Mike Westendorf and Distinctively Different (and I even sang a number or two!)
I really had a blast, but couldn't get over how tired I was. Well, turns out I had a little person starting to grow! I was pregnant, and just thought I was stressed. So, I had to re-think what my priorities art-wise are. No more stained glass for the next year (the chemicals are dangerous for me- but Jonathan can still do it!) So I am focusing more on my photography skills. I have had a couple of weddings already this year, and have several more to go, plus a couple in the works. I will post my favorites soon!
Thanks to Everyone who attended my show- I really appreciated all the wonderful compliments and the great questions everyone had!

Portraiture
Every Year I like to do a new self portrait to give to my hubby, Jonathan. I played around with it a little more this year, more effects that I have been experimenting with in Photoshop.
I also do this so that I have no pressure to get the photos edited and completed by a certain time- I like to experiment without having to worry about what others will think of it, but that when they do see the end result, it is something that they would love to have in their own photos. I also entered this into an online photo contest, and am currently in the top 10 people photos out of thousands of entries- VERY exciting!

Katie's Maternity Photos
So, A good friend of mine, Katie, asked me to do maternity photos- but this is no ordinary photo project!
We will be taking progressive photos once a month (approximately) in the same poses to see how her body is changing. I am SO excited- this is really a beautiful thing to experience, and I'm glad that she's asked me to do it!

Busy as a Bee
Hello, Hello again!
So, after a week and a half of being sick, and then trying to finish up the paintings for the show, I am FINALLY able to post again.
There are 3 new paintings for "He is Worthy" that I will have prints available to purchase after each concert- "The Lamb of God", "The Humiliation", and "The Crucifixion". The only one that is the same for this concert is "I know that My Redeemer Liveth"
I am very excited to hear people's reactions to these new paintings!
I am also going to have work up for sale at two different locations around Milwaukee: at Muscari Flower shop on the East Side, and at the Corner Bazaar in West Allis. Pray that these endeavors are blessed!!!
Gotta go!

working on new paintings
This is one of the new paintings that I am working on for the "He is Worthy" program- this is about halfway finished, about- sometimes hard for e to judge exactly how much time is left on a painting, since a lot of that is judged by the feel of the painting. I will be purchasing individual small spotlights to illuminate the paintings during the performances- I think they'll look awesome!

"Portraits of Christ" Art Show
I have in the works a show featuring different portraits of Christ- showing His life, death, and resurrection through the eyes of a contemporary artist (me:)
It will be set up in a similar style as my last show (After the Fall)
It will be located at Point of Grace (2223 E. Kenwood) at the back of the chapel- set up with the look and feel of an East side coffee shop- featuring Live Music by Mike Westendorf and other musicians(yet to book)
Show Opening Night is April 18th, from 7 until 10:30
Parking, I know, is always a bear, but more spots open around the area at 7, and there is a parking structure just east of the UWM student union that is $1 per hour of parking.
Any questions, please contact me :)
Also, if you would like an invitation or fliers to put up in your church or workplace, please email me your address

You will receive a disc with the edited photos - you can print these pictures wherever you choose! You will also receive a free matted and framed 8x10 for a serious referral!(contact me for details)
Think spring time for great family photos! Natural Light really is the most flattering light to take photos in, so outdoor locations or places with large windows are preferrable locations!

Wedding Photography
Yes, Wedding Season (may thru oct) seems ages away with all this snow that keeps smashing into WI, but now is really the time that you need to start booking your photographer! (those of you who are getting married in May or June, this is your wake-up call if you haven't booked your photographer yet!)
I have been working in photography since college, and still I like to think that I am more of an artist that I am a photographer, as I view my camera as yet another means to make some really great art, and people are awesome art subjects! I love capturing the emotion and beauty and all the little moments that make your wedding so special and unique.
Many people ask what type of photography I do, and sometimes that is very difficult to say, as I am still finding my niche into photography, but I guess the best way would be to say that I take great photojournalistic-style candids throughout the day, and throw in some fun, off the wall posed shots (they don't have to be off the wall, but I like them to be more relaxed and fun- not stiff and still-looking like many traditional shots are) Basically, my goal is to make you look your best, and make the rest of your guests feel comfortable enough that they feel and act like themselves even when there is a camera in front of them!
Take a look at my photo gallery at www.ebelingartstudio.com
Wedding packages start at only $1000- please contact me for more information!
Good Luck with your wedding plans!
He is Worthy
I have started work on the new paintings for my upcoming performances in a program called "He is Worthy", a Lenten/Easter program built around solos from Handel's Messiah that was put together by Mike Westendorf.
(visit his link to see more)
I also sing the soprano and alto parts, and Mike sings the bass and tenor parts. We are accompanied by Patrick Behringer, who is studying concert piano at UW Milwaukee, and Tiago Ellwanger and Alicia Mose on Violin, as well as Ben Warmuth on Trumpet.
It really is a fantastic program that I urge all of you to see- a very strong combination of music and God's word- bringing a very personal feel as to our responsibility of Christ's death and how amazing his love is for us to willingly suffer for our sakes!
I will post pictures and video as things start to get rolling. I will also have prints of the artwork available for sale at www.ebelingartstudio.etsy.com, and prints will also be available for purchase at the end of each concert performance.
